SUM+ Conference has a unique process of embracing the creative process by creating groups of attendees and assigning them a challenge to address during the conference.

The SUM+ Conference is about bringing together professionals from different industries who have different outlooks on challenges we face as a community. The process of inviting them to engage with other professionals in think-tanks and providing them a creative process to follow will bring new solutions and ideas to the fore-front of how we enhance our community - economically, socially and politically.

ABOUT YPG
YPG’s mission is to create a platform for our members to build relationships, develop professionally, become politically and philanthropically active, and contribute to the economic development and high quality living of our community. Attendees of the conference will be challenged to think about how they interact with others, personal and professional. Steve Shenbaum, President of Game on Nation, LLC and Head of Communication by game on at IMG Academies, and Joseph S. Grano, Jr., President of Next-Mark, will engage attendees with discussion topics on communication, teamwork, marketing, presentation skills and leadership. The goal is to provide young professionals with the necessary tools in order to effectively communicate in today’s business and social environment.
ABOUT SUM+
SUM+ is a Creative Thinking Conference that engages community leaders and young professionals from different backgrounds, industry and perspective in open conversations about social, economic and political issues. Attendees of SUM+ will be assigned to a group that has been given a specific topic to discuss, and the groups will go through a series of creative exercises that stimulate “out-of-the-box” creative thinking that brings about new ideas and solutions. At the end, each group delivers a presentation on their respective topic and results of their discussion. The goal of SUM+ is to prove that the whole is truly greater than the “sum” of its parts.
